Why Coaching not Counselling?

Coaches encourage clients to be accountable for their actions and/or goals. A coach will work with a client on the present and the future - looking into areas such as goal settings (both short term and long term) and future plans.

Counselling looks into the past, dealing with issues such as inherent problems. A counsellor will help a client to deal with past problems and move forward.
